Facebook revealing the personal data it collects, won't spare your drunk-poking blushes

Facebook's massively expanding its Download Your Information service into an all-encompassing archive of the data Mr. Zuckerberg collects about your daily dose of people-stalking. DYL was introduced in 2010 and allowed you to pull down all the photos, posts, messages, friend lists and chat conversations in the archives -- but now will also offer stored IP addresses, previous names you've used, friend requests you've made, with further categories due in the future. It'll have to to sate the concerns of privacy organizations worldwide, since it's rumored to collect 84 different categories of information about you (85 if you count all those Instagram photos it just bought). It'll be gradually rolled out to all 845 million users in the coming weeks and is available from your general account settings.

The Raven, Gridania?s leading tabloid, takes wing and dives into the unforeseen happenings.

High above the Twelveswood, the raven circles, evermore seeking out truth hidden amongst the shadows of the trees. In today?s edition, field correspondent Oliver Goodfellow reports on the rousing conclusion of that quirky new tradition called Hatching-tide.

This year?s Hatching-tide festival has come to a close in fine fashion, with citizens and adventurers alike having done their part to recover the decorated eggs from the thieving spriggans. Although it would seem that everything unfolded according to script, upon speaking with event organizers, The Raven learned that something came to pass that exceeded the bounds of improvisation.

In preparation for the event, Jihli Aliapoh and her fellow Dreamers had ordered a large shipment of dodo eggs from the Near Eastern city-state of Radz-at-Han. According to the merchant charged with fulfilling the delivery, however, mixed amongst the eggs were ones that resembled those of no cloudkin he knew. In the course of the festivities, word spread of these unusual specimens, and those folk fortunate enough to come into possession of one went to great pains to see it safely stored. Alas, it was to no avail, for when dawn arrived on the final day of Hatching-tide, naught were left of these eggs but broken shells.

So what, precisely, is the true nature of the enigmatic eggs? In seeking to shed light upon the mystery, this reporter tracked down an individual who claims first-hand knowledge of the truth. It is with pleasure that I now present his eyewitness account to you, our dear readers.

Our interviewee is a member of the Wood Wailers, who was on patrol the night before the incident. Upon being relieved of his shift, the man returned to the barracks, where he enjoyed a quiet moment gazing up at the starry night sky while taking swigs of mead. He believes he dozed off at some point, for when next he was aware, the skyline had taken on the gray hue of early morn. It was at that moment that his eyes were treated to a radical sight: a long train of baby turtles waddling amidst the morning mist.

As any forestborn will know, turtles are not native to the Twelveswood. And so it was all the Wailer could do to cry ?Turtles!? before staring, shell-shocked, as the little critters continued their leisurely parade, taking their leave of Gridania by way of Black Tree Brook. Regaining his composure, our eyewitness sought out his fellow Wailers, whereupon he recounted to them what he had just beheld. Being rather disheveled from a night out in the open and with drink still heavy upon his breath, however, he made for an unconvincing sight to his comrades, who disregarded the tale as the ramblings of a drunkard. It was not long thereafter that I caught wind of the man and approached him with my questions.

The issue of eyewitness credibility aside, one thing is beyond doubt: Thavnair, the island upon which Radz-at-Han is situated, is indeed home to such turtles as were described. We at The Raven shall leave it to our informed readers to decide for themselves whether the account can be given credence.

Did Melissa Gilbert's head hit the 'DWTS' floor?

Melissa Gilbert's "Dancing" partner took a tumble on Monday night's show, and some say she did, too.

On Monday night's live episode of "Dancing With the Stars," actress-turned-ballroom-hopeful Melissa Gilbert traded the dance floor for a hospital bed following a mysterious injury. Before the evening was over, Gilbert took to her Twitter account to reveal she sustained a "mild concussion and whiplash" during the show.

But exactly when that injury occurred is now the stuff of intense fan debate.

Gilbert's rep confirmed to Access Hollywood that the injury happened when the former "Little House on the Prairie" star hit her head on the ballroom floor. That's in line with what some of Gilbert's "Dancing" co-stars had to say.

"She hit her head during her dance, and then after she felt a little dizzy so they took her to the hospital just to get checked out and make sure she was okay," actress and comedienne Sherri Shepherd told Us Weekly.

It was a similar story from rocker Gavin DeGraw, who told XfinityTV that "it seemed like she had hit the back of her head. I guess she may have hit the floor at some point during the dance. We put an ice pack on her head.?

So, with such a star-studded consensus, what is there to debate about the blow? According to some eagle-eyed "Dancing" viewers, the debate is ultimately about whether it happened at all.

While Gilbert's partner, ballroom bad boy Maksim Chmerkovskiy, can be seen taking a tumble during the passionate paso doble routine, there's no moment from Monday night's clip that clearly shows Gilbert's head meeting the floor.

Sure, one Zaprudering "Dancing" enthusiast on Television Without Pity's forums recounted a couple of moments in which something could have occurred.

"Two possible times -- early on, Maks lays her on the floor after a sort of almost-horizontal half-spin, steps over her head, then pulls her up again," forum user Serendi wrote. "It didn't look like it was then -- her head looked like she held it up -- but it was hard to be sure, because their names and phone number were on screen overlaying her head. Second time, almost at the end, he lowers and spins her and she might have hit her head on his knee."

As far as Clicker reader Heather Pearson is concerned, it simply didn't happen.

"I did not see her hit her head even after watching it several times," Pearson wrote to The Clicker's Facebook page. "Her head didn't even touch the floor. Didn't look dizzy when she ran off the stage and up those stairs either... sounds fake to me."

She wasn't the only who thought that.

But one?s head doesn't actually have to hit a surface in order to cause a concussion, says?TODAY.com contributor Linda Carroll, co-author of ?The Concussion Crisis: Anatomy of?a Silent Epidemic."

?You can get a concussion without ever hitting your head,? Carroll told TODAY.com. ?One analogy I like to use is your brain is like a passenger in a car riding without a seat belt. The car slams to a stop and the passenger slams into the windshield. Similarly, if you're tackled in football and suddenly come to a stop, your brain keeps moving ? and can slam into the skull.?

Carroll said she?watched the episode with her young daughter, and both of them were wondering which move could have caused?Gilbert's concussion.

Even without a visible moment of impact, it's?not hard to see how Gilbert could have waltzed away with injuries after performing her strongest routine yet. The paso doble is a powerful dance, filled with fast, snap-to holds and jarring floor spins. Given the actress's health history (in 2010, she underwent spinal surgery after she broke her back while performing in the "Little House on the Prairie" musical), a dance-floor pain isn't hard to explain.

Of course, barring any new footage featuring an as-yet-unseen angle, it's likely fans will never get a good look at just what happened to the star, but here's hoping the injuries she sustained won't keep them from seeing more of her on the show.
